Chigwell is dominated by large detached houses on generous, often gated plots, backing onto or bordering Epping Forest. Why does one TV work and the others break up?

The aerial feed has almost certainly been split without amplification. Each split reduces signal to every outlet, so the weakest points fail first. A properly designed distribution amplifier restores all of them.
My picture is worse in summer than winter. Why?

Tree cover on the Epping Forest edge fills out and obstructs the path. Raising or repositioning the aerial is the durable fix, because boosting a degraded signal boosts the interference with it.
Can you set up Sky Q throughout a large house?
